One aim of Comenius is to develop various materials to implement in the classroom with pupils and an exchange between members of all educational communities.
For this reason since the last day eight until the thirteenth day of October, a total of eighteen teachers from Poland, Italy, Hungary, Bulgaria and Romania, visited our town, Alcala de la Jara.
In these five days we perform various activities with the same goal: To know the life and work of the painter Francisco de Goya.
In our school students, parents and teachers would receive with a welcome party. We learned through role play and what were some of his most important and representative.
We conducted an exit to Madrid where we visited the hermitage of San Antonio de la Florida (the place where lie the remains of the painter), the Museo del Prado (where our fellow Europeans were amazed), and building the bridge we went to Pilar Fuendetodos (hometown Goya y Lucientes Francisco 263 years ago) and Zaragoza, where we could see on their big day, the Basilica del Pilar and the dome painted himself.
We had time to learn, to laugh, to share experiences, and especially to work, because in this first meeting of all partners were reflected the activities that work with our students until the next meeting to be held in April in Poland.
We thank the help of parents / mothers at the school in preparation for the activities of the welcome party, all faculty members who have left their mark on us, especially our students, the real protagonists of this project , because thanks to them we are "Comenius".
